THE Only Way Is Essex bosses have hit back at their stars who threatened to walk out – warning them to stop whingeing or get the BOOT.

The Sun revealed last week how cast members on the ITV2 reality show complained they got just £80 a day and that some filming sessions lasted up to 13 hours.

Things got so bad on one long day that several stars, including Mario Falcone, Lucy Mecklenburgh, Billi Mucklow and Gemma Collins, walked out.
But producers have now fired off a warning letter to each of the cast telling them to buck up their ideas or face the sack.
An insider said: “Bosses aren’t prepared to take any nonsense.
“They know some cast members have been complaining about long hours and low pay but have told them to stop whingeing and get on with it.
“Producers are particularly annoyed about time-keeping and the way some of them treat production staff. The stars have been told they have to start arriving on time and must be respectful to the crew.
“They have been told nobody is bigger than the show — and if they don’t like it they should leave as there are loads of people who’d replace them in a heartbeat.
“Even though the cast only get paid £80 a day, they earn thousands from personal appearances and deals they wouldn’t get if they weren’t on the show, so producers feel in a strong position.”
Cast members have also hit out after Billi was given a week off to go to the south of France for her dad’s birthday — while others have been told they can’t take time off during filming.
A source said: “All the other cast members have been told they have to be available for filming, but Billi has been allowed a week off. People are raging about it.”
Billi appeared to be having a great time away, saying on Twitter yesterday: “Tanning Time! It’s so hot today! #cannes”
